NSIC

Empowering India's MSMEs since 1955

NSIC, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of MSME, has worked to promote, aid and foster the growth of MSMEs in India since 1955. A front-runner in bringing new initiatives for MSMEs and solving their challenges through various schemes, NSIC was quick to adopt digital technologies and launched the B2B portal MSME Global Mart (www.msmemart.com), an online platform for B2B marketing that connects MSMEs with buyers and suppliers all over the world. The portal aims to significantly reduce, and ultimately eliminate, the challenge of weak marketing, market access and visibility of MSMEs in the country.

Beyond e-marketing, the need was also felt to help MSMEs adopt technology to achieve higher business efficiency, automation and compliance. Following this, the Digital Service Facilitation aggregation service was launched, under which NSIC operates as a facilitator of ICT-enabled digital services for MSMEs at transparent and affordable prices, by on-boarding leading service providers that offer the products and services MSMEs need to manage their businesses digitally.
